Supporting Our Friends with SCP: GALLIONIC
Soem Studios is launching their SCP Anime Kickstarter this week!
Today we’d like to share with you an incredibly cool project: SCP: GALLIONIC is an anime short film with a Kickstarter launching this Tuesday! Check out Soem Studios’ YouTube channel to see their amazing work bringing the SCP Foundation to life in beautiful hand-made 2D animation.
Here at Keter Labs, one of our big ideas is that high-quality SCP Foundation media will never come from big studios. It has to come from passionate independent filmmakers backed by the SCP community.
So if you’re hungry to support more amazing Foundation films in addition to our upcoming SCP Movie… the SCP Anime is an extremely worthy project.

The story synopsis from Soem Studios:
SCP:GALLIONIC is an independent animated short film following the events after a catastrophic containment breach through the eyes of Matthew Vestergaard, a simple accountant working on the outskirts of the facility, and the events leading up to said breach through Jane Vestergaard, a young researcher at the facility and Matthew’s older sister. Jane is helplessly frustrated with the facility’s status quo in which containment breaches seem to be a common occurrence and the loss of staff is just part of the job. She is worried this mass apathy could lead to a catastrophic containment breach and has to scramble for a solution to all of this. Matthew, on the other hand, decides to venture within the facility after said catastrophic event, with no knowledge of what happened or even what is in this place, but with the sole goal of saving his sister.
We’ll be backing SCP: GALLIONIC’s Kickstarter on day 1 of the campaign, launching this Tuesday, February 17th at 5pm UTC+1. We hope you’ll support them too, and help more incredible SCP films get made!
